He is also a research fellow and postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, University of Trento, working on the development of the Noise Footprint framework. He has previously held a postdoctoral position at the University of the Aegean, focusing on ecologically sustainable acoustic management and urban soundscapes. His teaching portfolio includes courses on environmental acoustics, focusing on noise assessment, the soundscape approach, and ecological acoustics. Additionally, since 2016, he has designed and taught courses in environmental risk assessment, health impact assessment, environmental design, smart and sustainable cities, environmental field data collection methods, and acoustic ecology. He holds a PhD in Urban and Acoustic Ecology and an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of the Aegean, as well as a BSc in Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering. His research explores mixed approaches to environmental acoustics, urban ecology, ecoacoustics, and the soundscape approach. He has worked on numerous international research projects funded by the EU and has published extensively in international scientific journals and conference proceedings. Finally, he is an active member of the Hellenic Society for Acoustic Ecology, the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA), and the World Forum for Acoustic Ecology (WFAE).
