General
The theoretical course of lecture presents scientific research and academic essay writing. The students deal with a topic and question concerning their scientific field, and argue properly their opinion and thoughts based on research methodology, organized out-line and form, and all the rules required, avoiding plagiarism.
Course content
The topic and sub-topics, research methodologies and approaches, supporting points, evidence, explanations, conclusions, reference styles and oral presentation are the content of this course.
Programme aims
The course seeks a proper approach to scientific research and writing as a basis of reasoning, understanding and forming the context of their essays.
Learning Outcomes: Knowledge and Understanding
Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to
– Understanding the methods of scientific research
– Outline research questions. -Search, analyze and summarize their findings.
