Roumpini is an urban designer specialising in design and assessment of the built environment. She has worked on
a wide range of projects and she has gained broad experience in the fields of masterplanning, urban design and
architecture, with a main focus on large scale regeneration schemes in Central London.
Roumpini has been leading in a number of urban regeneration projects in the UK from initial feasibility studies and Options Appraisal to Outline and Full Planning applications.
Due to the nature of the urban regeneration projects she has been also leading in the preparation of urban
design documentation, Design Guides and Codes for Housing Associations and in the development of bespoke
stakeholder, community engagement strategies and public consultation.
Roumpini’s experience includes participating in regeneration/architectural competitions in Greece and contributed to conferences, presenting papers in relation to the social, economic and environmental benefits of public spaces.
Since 2021, she has taken her passion and experience on urban design and academic research to the next level
and she is a PhD researcher at the University of West Attica where she is also lecturing remotely in the course of
Sustainable Urbanism and technical design.
