Nikitas CHIOTINIS is Emeritus Professor at the University of West Attica and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Culture.
He’s holding a Doctor’s Degree from the Department of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens, a Master’s Degree (D.E.A) in Philosophy and Philosophy of Culture, from the Department of Philosophy of the University PARIS I-Panthéon-Sorbonne, a Master’s Degree (Maîtrise) in Aesthetics from the Department of Plastic Arts and Art Sciences of the University PARIS I and a Degree of Architect-Engineer from the Ecole Spéciale d´Architecture, Paris. Nikitas Chiotinis is Vice President of Cultural Affairs of SDMed International Association. Author of a book entitled “Introduction in historical semantics of architecture” and of numerous chapters in collective books, Nikitas is also columnist in electronic media on cultural issues. He was member of the Greek ESPON Contact Point 2007-2013, of the EUROPA INGO and the Associations “Cosmos and Philisophy” and “Greek Philosophy”. He has provided numerous lectures as invited speaker in philosophy of art and culture.
