Mr. Zannis Miniotis is a Theology teacher at Doukas Senior High School of Athens, Greece. He has studied Theology at the Ecclesiastical Academy of Athens and at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He also has a Master of Arts degree in Theology from the University of Neapolis in Cyprus and since 2019 is a PhD candidate at the Department of Internal Architecture of the School of Applied Arts and Culture of the University of West Attica on the subject: “Ecology: Aesthetics and Orthodoxy as an Ontological Dialectic”. As a Professor – Mentor, he collaborates with the Department of Theology of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Athens, in the Student Internship Program for the acquisition of teaching competence. In 2011 he was the Coordinator of the Volunteer Program for the Special Olympics World Summer Games. He is a Professor Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Bullying of Adolescents in the School Environment. He also represents the School in Conferences and Youth Mobility Programmes in Research and Technology, while in 2011 the participation of his team in the “Youth in Action” Programme in Brussels, won the first place in innovation proposals at European level. He is the representative of the School in the framework of the program of the collaborating schools with UNESCO. He collaborates as a co-organizer or as a member of Scientific Committees in World Conferences with various bodies, such as the National Committee of UNESCO, the European Cultural Centre of Delphi, the Hellenic Foundation for Culture of Greece and Italy, etc. Since 2021, Zannis Miniotis has been a scientific associate of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, while he participates as a Speaker in International Conferences and Workshops of Theological, Ecological, Cultural and Pedagogical content, such as the Theological Schools of Athens and Belgrade, the Inter-Orthodox Center of the Church of Greece, the Christian Group of Students and Scientists, the 10th Ecological Conference HELECOS, the International Conference (2021) of the Museum of Contemporary Art Teriade, in Cultural Centers of Municipalities and in Training Seminars. At the same time, he writes articles in theological and cultural journals and has published more than 150 theological and educational articles and studies. He is also a founding member of the Network of Schools and Support Bodies of the ” Great Patriarchal School of the Nation” in Istanbul (2014). Finally, he continuously attends Conferences, Workshops and Seminars of scientific and pedagogical training.
