Tsioutas Konstantinos

Konstantinos Tsioutas is a researcher at the Mobile and Multimedia Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science of the Athens University of Economics and Business, under the supervision of professors George Xylomenos and George Polyzos. The subject of his research focuses on the very fast transmission of sound over the Internet for the purposes of Network Music Performance. From 2013 to 2019 he was a partner of the Folk and Traditional Music Department of the former Technological Educational Institute of Epirus Department of Traditional Music where he taught the courses of Music Technology and Sound Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a master degree in Arts and Sound Technologies from the Ionian University Music Department and a master degree in Radio Electronics with emphasis on Computer Networks from the Department of Physics and Informatics of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has conducted interactive digital installations. At the same time he is involved in under-graduate education where he teaches in the fields of electronics, computer science, networks and music technology.
